WELCOME STUDENTS & ALUMNI
KATE SOUTHWICK: |
If you are a student interested in learning about the IT industry, choosing your educational pathway, or preparing for an IT career, I can start you on the right path. If you want one-on-one work with your IT resume or need to clarify your career goals, I can help. I’m Kate Southwick and you can contact me for information about IT career fairs, IT career networking opportunities, speakers, workshops, and events that will connect you to IT professionals and employers. The Student & Alumni Action Board (SAAB) offers another opportunity for you to connect with students and alumni - and add to your resume through involvement in Center projects. To learn more about all the opportunities the Center offers, contact me at 612-659-7225. |
If you are a graduate, or about to graduate, the benefits and programs brought to you by the Center continue. Contact me (Sharon Boerbon Hanson) to join the Metro-area IT Alumni Association (developed to offer you free presentations, educational programs, and networking gatherings). I look forward to developing the association and further opportunities to assist you. If you’re looking for a position sign up for our Hot Jobs Bulletin – selected openings will post to your inbox weekly. If you’re an employer, let me know about the jobs you offer, and the info will be passed along. If you have any questions about the Center, or would like information on the IT Workforce Collaborative (created to help keep the IT field robust) call or email me. |
