Job Descriptions: SUMMARY: The Software Engineer of Managed Solutions is responsible for designing, developing, writing, implementing, and maintaining various database objects built for our clients. Duties include requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration and maintenance of database objects to meet strategic business goals and client needs. We are looking for a highly accomplished, Database Developer to create, build and maintain database objects. The candidate must be capable of reviewing, analyzing and modifying applications including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot issues and work with the appropriate resources/parties to resolve them. The candidate must have knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in development. A wide range of discretion and judgment is expected of the employee in order to work independently to plan and accomplish goals. The employee must also possess a high degree of creativity and a strong talent for problem-solving to conquer complex technical obstacles. Required Experience: KEY REQUIREMENTS: * Responsibilities will include SQL coding, fine tuning, ETL Framework, implement and maintain SQL replication. * Build test plans to ensure code modifications do not result in failures of project specifications. * Ensure that deployed products are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle. * Use reliable build and deployment procedures for products in a production environment spanning a large number of servers of multiple co-location facilities. * Strong with MySQL, Oracle and/or SQL Language. * Design and develop tables, databases. * Manage user permissions [create database users, granting permissions]. * Experience in creating triggers, stored procedures and functions. * Desirable to have experience in SQL replication. * Hands on Experience with commercial ETL framework. * Good understanding of web technologies and web design. * Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and documentation with UML. * A proven desire to learn and contribute to the successful completion of team goals and projects. * Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to interact with business analysts, peers, and management. * Able to work well as an individual contributor and within a team. * Experience in Core Java. PREFERRED DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION: Oracle experience is preferred. Sun Java certification will be a big plus. Experience with financial data is a plus.
